Setting Permissions with CHMOD

CHMOD sets permissions for your files and folders so they can be read from and written to.
This is usually performed using an FTP program (like WS_FTP or Cute FTP for example) to change access permissions for your files and folders on a remote server (in this instance the server/webhost you have folderblog running on) In folderblog's case the thumbs, comments and caption folders need to be set to 777 so they can be written to by folderblog when it creates thumbnails and updates captions and comments etc.
