Categories in FB3(back to index)
I have installed FB3 and posted some photos.
I can see them fine and add comments etc .
I would like to know ot set up the Categories ?
Is the process still as convulated as its in FB2 ??

I would like to know if its possible to do the following:
1) Just add the categories that you want in a "categories.txt" file , as its done now.
2) Create the directory structure under "photos"
3) Copy the photos you want in this category , directly in this directory.

I think only these steps should be done.
FB3 should find out the categories from the .txt file and then look for the photos in that respective drectory and not in the "photos" directory.
Isnt this approach more intuitive ??

Is this currently possible ?

thanks

in fb3, you just have to do the steps 2 and 3! 1 isn't necessary anymore.

My experience with Categories was that you don't see them until you go to the Archives.

I'm sure there is a way to change the main Photos page to show categories?

If you use the relaxation template you'll find below every foto the category (formated as a link) it belongs to.

The default template shows categories on the main photo page — if you're using an alternate template, you can re-add the list with the tag <#fbcats#>.
