I have a tip for quick uploading. Get the free drag-and-drop ftp machine called DropBox at http://tangoftp.com/tango-dropbox/index.html.
Once it's set up, you can just drag a picture on the icon and it uploads automatically.
There's an ftp program there too but why pay for it when DropBox is free?
